Rizalino "Lino" Saludo Bombio

Suddenly called to the eternal home to be with his Maker, parents, Clemente and Cecilia Bombio, and brother Manuel on April 13, 2016 in San Francisco with the queen of his life, Mercy Gutierrez Bombio, by his side. Born in San Pablo City, Philippines on July 13, 1946. Earned a bachelor's degree in Commerce from Laguna College, Philippines in 1966. Employed with the Commission on Audit at the University of the Philippines in Los Banos, Laguna. Numerous friends were drawn to him by his quiet, unassuming ways and his sincerity. Started a new chapter in life at the United States in 1985. His first job was at Fritzi's of California. Was an Accounting Officer Specialist with the State of California for ten years.
Mindful of God's presence in his life, he fervently served the FFAUCC in San Bruno for 18 years. He brought the same dedication and humility in serving the Faith Community Church (UCC Oakland). Lived a simple, quiet life filled with extended church family whose members adored and had the greatest esteem for him.
In addition to his wife, Mercy, he will be deeply missed by his treasured loving daughters Maricel Cootauco and Millin Grace Corker (Scott), grandsons Gabriel Patrick and Jaden of London, England; sisters Norah (Frank), loving twin, Linda (Ike), brothers Ismael (Charry), Rolando (Lina), sister-in-law Dellie, the Gutierrez family, and numerous cousins.
Public viewing at Duggan-Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City on Saturday, April 23rd at 3:30 - 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 5:30 PM. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 24th at the Lake Park Methodist Church/Faith UCC (Oakland), 281 Santa Clara Avenue, Oakland, at 2:30 PM.
