Bob was born in San Francisco, Ca and was the youngest of 3 brothers of the late Raymond and Madeline Burke. He is survived by his brother Tom Burke, sister in law, Carole Burke; loving and generous father of Michelle Burke, Mike Burke, Sue Black and Kelly Beller-Hernandez. Adoring papa to Riley, Amelia, and Zoe Burke and Hudson Black. Cherished uncle by Dan Burke (Deirdre), Catherine Agelson (Louie), the late Graham Burke, Barry Burke, John Burke, Candace Burke and Meghan Burke. Bob grew up in SF in the house his father built in 1937. He graduated from Reardon High School and attended Santa Clara University and earned a degree in business at University San Francisco. He had a successful career as a financial consultant for twenty-five years. His cancer prompted him to move to Los Angeles in August 2006 to be near his children and grandchildren. Bob's faith was strong and carried him through tough times. Family always came first, his dog, Roxie, his friends and always a 49ers fan. His generous nature and great sense of humor touched so many lives. He made a difference and will be missed. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I just heard about Bob's passing. Please accept my sincerest condolences on his loss. I have many great and fun filled memories of Bob, especially at Santa Clara University (always remembering the Hudson), Stevens Creek, and so much more. We shared a lot over the years and will be missed.
God bless you Bob.

I cannot put into words how much my Uncle Bob has meant to me. He was such a fun, irreverent, and straight-talking larger than life presence in my life who I will forever miss. Love you, Uncle Bob! Hugs to my cousins, Michelle, Mike, Sue, and Kelly.
