Robert Henry Lindquist passed away February 17, 2015 in Berkeley, CA. He was born in Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, MN on February 27, 1928 to Richard H. Lindquist MD and Grace M. Lindquist.

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather attended the University of Minnesota, graduating in 1949 with a Masters Degree in Chemistry. As a member of the Navy ROTC at University, he was immediately in 1949 commissioned Lt.jg and called to service for three years during the Korean conflict.

Robert married in December 1950 to June Nash at Tracy MN. Sixty-four years of happy marriage followed. After service in the US Navy, he pursued his plan for a PhD in Physical Chemistry. He completed his studies at the University of California at Berkeley in 1956. Lindy joined Chevron Research that year as a research chemist and continued until his retirement in 1986.

A busy and happy retirement surrounded by family and friends included summer visits to the family cabin on North Long Lake, MN. A Kensington resident of 57 years, Bob enjoyed being father to Frank Lindquist (Cynthia Woong) and Constance Geisler (Markus); grandfather to Micah Woong (Julie), Grace, Christian, and Annika; and great grandfather to Delilah. Wife June and his sisters Karna Boyer and Elna Campbell survive, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. We will miss him dearly.
