Ron was my teacher and a great mentor when I attended Cal Berkeley's Education department. I changed my career path as a direct result of his leadership and inspiration, and still think often of what I learned from him, as well as how much fun he was to be around. Very sad to hear of his passing.

I was very saddened to hear of Ron's passing. Our paths crossed in the mid-eighties while I was visiting Berkeley from Ireland. He was an especially kind person organizing work for me at a couple of his workshops. RIP.

I was one of Ron's students at UC Berkeley, 1984-1986. He was a wonderful teacher, and what he taught was truly a gift that kept on giving. Because of what I learned, I moved from classroom teacher to administrator to teacher of teachers, then finally to a combination of all three. I owe it all to him. He was one of a kind and he will be sorely missed. I wish the family all the best.

Years ago I met Ron through the Catholic Young Adult Group in NH. In fact, he accompanied me to my company picnic in the late 50's. He was a terrific young man, and my condolences are extended to the family.
