Ronald "Ron" Wayne Pedersen, 73, of Fort Bragg, California, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025 at Adventist Health Mendocino Coast.
Born in Hayward, California on July 22, 1952, Ron played football at Sunset High, Chabot College, while serving in Coast Guard and was a lifelong Raiders fan. Ron worked in a variety of trades throughout his life and always brought a detail oriented thoroughness to everything he did. He was a passionate rock and roll enthusiast, horticulturist and dog lover.
Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and is survived by his wife, Cathy, his children, grandchildren and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Adventist Health Mendocino Coast where he received exemplary care.

Gosh, I´ve known Ron for a long time. He was a friend of my kind Rich from school. He and his wife and daughters were big part of our lives when I first knew my husband. We camped and fished together, had BBQs and summer parties, went crabbing at the coast, played cards and games, went boating at Lake Bettyessa, he was best man in our wedding. He always made me laugh and gave really good hugs. I´ll miss his great big welcoming smile.
