Sarah Maloney Obituary

Sarah Jo Maloney passed away Aug. 7, 2012, in Melbourne, Fla., due to complications from pancreatitis. Sarah was born Aug. 3, 1961, and had just turned 51. She attended both Thayer Academy in Braintree, Mass., as well as Quincy Jr. College. Sarah worked for years in the hospitality industry making each persons day with whom she came in contact, a bit happier. Her ready smile and good humor made her a natural for working with the public. Sarah so enjoyed a good time and a hearty laugh especially if it were at the expense of herself. Her kindness and wonderful laughter will be sorely missed, but will forever ring in the hearts of those who knew and loved her so well. Dearest Sarah is survived by her mother, Susan Bradbury of Braintree. Remaining as well is her brother, Matthew M. Bradbury of Braintree; and sister, Alice Bradbury Chisholm and her husband Jamie of Scituate, Mass. She is survived also by her dear niece, Emma; nephews, Matt and Tristin; as well as her beloved cousins, Paula and Beth of Alaska. Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial visitation in the McDonald Funeral Home, at 809 Main St. (Rte. 18 opposite South Shore Hospital), South Weymouth, Mass., Saturday, Aug. 25, from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment of Sarahs cremains will be at a later date in a private family ceremony. Life is a story, written in a book
A moment is a word, a day is a page
And the best times are remembered in chapters
Sarah was a chapter that will never be forgotten
Like an artist paints a work of art
Sarah painted pictures in our lives that will last forever
And as our life stories continue to be written
We'll find ourselves thumbing through the pages
Drifting back to relive some of our favorite chapters
Where laughter and happiness were plentiful
When Sarah was with us
