Dearest Michele,
Shea Stella is the star of my heart this Christmas. Her fortitude is legendary. What a beauty inside and out. Although my friendship with her was never in the same town or at the same time, when we spoke it was with a passion for life and art. Your daughter is my inspiration. When I look up at the vast Montana sky and see the multitude of stars, I know she is hanging them one by one just for you. She is Artemis the huntress and so many other constellations, swimming in the deep cosmos with a spirit that never ends and always begins. Michele, you are a lifesaver. None of us will ever be able to stop the tears on earth. But, in heaven, well, I believe.
Yours,
Kathleen Melee

I have known Shea since she graduated from UCLA. We are fellow members of AXE (Alpha Chi Sigma) and she showed me some of the lighter moments in life. Some different dance classes and swimming in the Bay. Her courage was remarkable, her light truly amazing.

I hadn't seen Shea in many years, but I always remember what a kind and loving person she was. You always felt happier when she was around.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Shea was a great person and such a bright light.
