Stephen Mullen Obituary

Stephen M. Mullen passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025 at the age of 75.
Steve was born in SF to Fred and Jill Mullen, and was raised in the Sunset district. He attended Sacred Heart High School, St. Mary's College and earned a master's degree at the University of Colorado.
Steve entered the Air Force as a medic, where he met his wife, Barbara, a nurse. They then moved to South Lake Tahoe where they raised their family. He also coached soccer and baseball in Tahoe.
Steve is survived by Barbara, sisters Terri Belcher and Fran Mullen, brother-in-law Mike Belcher, sisters-in-law Beverly and Donna, daughter Julie, son Kevin, his grandchildren Cyrus, Alisha, Kylie and Kaden, nephew Jordan Richardson, and his daughter, Brooklyn. He also leaves behind cousins Mike, Tom, Paul, and Dan Lagomarsino (thank you for making Steve's last birthday a special one), as well as Judy Needler, Nancy Severance and John Westerlund. Special thanks to Jon, Jeremy, and Robert Bailey, and the Tolbert and Bishop families who were so close to him over the years.
