Susie, Tristan, Tori, I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out today, and I can't shake an image of Steve at some party at Laurel Hill--Warthog?--holding some ridiculous present and laughing his head off. What a nice guy and a good, good man. My heart is with you.

Please accept my most humble condolences. All of us living as members of a united family know the inevitable which we will someday meet. And somehow the knowledge never makes it easy when the ones we love make their transition. Life is an unfolding mystery bestowed upon us in the fleeting moments of time's eternity, and it is our duty to make the most of it in the best way we can. Challenges face us all, and it is in graciousness that we can meet them in pursuit of that which brings personal meaning and a full, just life. May the love Steve shared in life be perpetuated onward by the ones that love him. It is in this way we never lose the people we love, even in death. My most humble condolences.
