I met and knew Dr. Morena when he came to Germany to teach and supervise the USC overseas graduate programs in the early 1980s. He was very warm to me and the other students and provided an immense insight from his experiences in education in California. Like many of the students, I was a military officer stationed in Germany. Others were teachers who taught in the Department of Defense Schools. He was a brilliant educator and his shared experiences, and humor, that he injected in the classroom will have lasting benefits to us...and the children we taught. God Bless You, Dr. Morena.
