Theresa Garibaldi Obituary

Theresa M. Garibaldi
January 16, 1922 - January 10, 2021
Of Daly City passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the age of 98. Born on January 16, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Giuseppe Minore and Antoinette Minore. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years Albert Garibaldi, her sister Mary Mannella and six other brothers and sisters buried in Trapani, Italy.
Theresa graduated from St. Anselm's School in San Anselmo, California. She was a member of Holy Angels Parish in Colma as well as the Holy Angels Senior Club.
Theresa loved her crafts, especially her card making. She was an avid and competitive card player (Phase 10) and never passed up an opportunity to invite guests into the game. Theresa could tell you everything that was happening on Bismark Street as she sat in her "Control Tower" at the front window of her home.
Loving mother to her sons Richard (Joanne), Robert (Rose) and daughters Patricia (Bill) and Ursuline Sister Shirley Ann.
Grandmother to nine loving grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at the Italian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer a donation to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital of the SPCA.

This woman changed my life.
She was my best friend. She was such a force in my life, I loved her so much. I thought i knew everything, a know it all, until I met her. She was everything a bff could want; honest, fun, spoke italian n adorable
I will never forget her. If I live to 210, she will always be my idol; a true lady. My mother adored her, as well. 2 sirens from the 40s. I loved all her books n her precious husband, Al, whom I never met, but spoke to him, always, because she was devoted to him, all her life. She carried a picuture of him, that she kept on her bed nightstand, and took it with us, every time she would leave her home. I loved Guido and will never forget him and Iwill never forget Bella. She loved her babies so much. I will always use her as my role model. My MOMMY met her and adored her too.
She was a very special lady.
