I'm in the same business and saw Tom at investment conferences over the years, always wearing his bow-tie, always polite and always asking very good questions. Only knew him well enough to say 'hi' but will miss him. A good man.

I met Tom through OMT's ownership stake in our company (ALGN) and while quarterly reviews with many investors were less than stimulating, I always found our discussions about the business to be a highlight of the earnings cycle. Tom was a great investor and at his core, a terrific analyst as he could get right to the key value drivers in the business and discuss them cogently.
I came to know Tom better after we joined Lahontan in Truckee and loved seeing his indomitable spirit on show every day; especially when he was with his grandchildren while hitting golf balls.
My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends and can only remind everyone that he lived a wonderfully full life and from all appearances, didn't get cheated out of a single day. Travel well Tom. May God be with you.

Tom was a dear friend since University of Chicago days. He and Carol travelled similar paths whether business or sociallly as Jerry and I did. We have always been very dear friends and will be with Carol all along her new path.
Tom was a great example in demonstrating his ability to handle death with dignity and courage.
He will leave a void in the lives of many people.
I send my genuine love to Carol and the Henwood family.

what a courageous fight he did. He was always such a pleasure to see, when I walked Juno he would always stop to talk and always had a great smile on his face. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
