Thomas Santoro Obituary

Thomas Joseph Santoro
09/12/1943 - 08/31/2025
Thomas Joseph Santoro was born Sept 12, 1943, to Domenico Santoro and Josephine A. Colla. His spirited childhood brought lifelong friendships that he treasured throughout his life.
Tom was a master chef and an avid car enthusiast, and he nurtured a passion for golf. He received his associate's degree after graduating from Balboa High School and went on to become an officer of the San Francisco Police Department before joining the San Francisco Fire Department for over 25 years where he served as Captain.
Tom's greatest accomplishment was his marriage to his one true love, Patricia Fraser, in May of 2003 at Pebble Beach surrounded by adoring friends and family. They settled in Burlingame, CA and made loving memories together with their incredible friends and family.
Tom is remembered for his humility, compassion, dependability, and lovable, charming nature. He touched the lives of all who knew him as a one-of-a-kind gentleman.
Tom is survived by his loving and devoted wife Patricia, daughter Rosemary, 3 grandsons, stepdaughter Melanie, Patricia's twin brother Patrick Sutherland and wife Linda, 2 sisters, 1 brother and over 125 nieces and nephews.
Tom's funeral Mass will be at noon on October 15, 2025 at Our Lady of Angels Church, 1721 Hillside Dr, Burlingame, CA 94010.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate supporting the Retired Firemen and Widows Association of the San Francisco Fire Dept, P.O. Box 12312, San Francisco, CA 92112.
