A long time ago I was told getting my gray hair at an early age was Uncle Tom's fault. Everyone always reminds me of this and when I look in the mirror, I always think of that special uncle. We know he is in a better place now and can begin another collection of antiques. God Bless

Tom was a good neighbor - always fussing with something in his garage but always had a hand to lend if you needed it. We will miss him. Prayers and thoughts to his family and to Kay. The Lynch Family

Uncle Tom was always fun to be with when he came to visit. He always was taking pictures and talked of his marble collection among others. I guess the next visit will be when we all see him in the afterlife and have another reunion of sorts. I will always remember and love him.

There's a "cool uncle" in most every family, and Tom was that for me. His warmth, generous spirit, great stories and sense of humor will remain with me always. With eternal love,

I am so thankful to have had Tom as my uncle. He made time to come to IL for visits and because of this we knew our cousins. One weekend he happened to be visiting my parents, we were painting the garage to help Dad. Uncle Tom was our foreman that day...we all learned alot about painting! God bless all his wonderful family. Love you, Mary (Warren) Solon, Patrick Solon and children James and Emily Sandy

I have known Tom for a very long time.(Chris is my best friend) I am so sad that he is gone. He was a wonderful, funny man who made the best chili ever! I will especially remember how he decorated his house for Christmas. I always looked forward to seeing him as he always had a hug for me. Rest in Peace Tom, you will be missed.Heartfelt condolences to the family.

I have wonderful memories of Uncle Tom. He was such fun when he came to visit in IL. I loved his passion for antiques. His eyes would light up when he spoke of finding a unique and valuable treasure. I will miss him very much. Rest in Peace Uncle Tom. Love and prayers to his children, grandchildren and Kay.

I am uncle Tom's Great-Niece. We enjoyed his visits to Illinois. One time when he came to Illinois, Uncle Tom, his Brother Bill and I, went to the store and he bought me a T-shirt that said, Little Miss Chatter Box on it. I still wear it now, and it has been about two years since he bought it for me. I will wear it as long as I can because it is special to me. I am sorry for the loss of your Father, Grandfather, Friend, Brother or however you know him. God Bless you at this time. I hope you will heal and you will be happy again.
