Tom Morgan Obituary
07/28/1948 - 01/20/2025
Born in San Francisco, Tom lived most of his life in South San Francisco where he was a painting and drywall contractor for 40+ years, retiring in 2002. Tom was married to Beverly Schutz Morgan of Redwood City for 43 years, and moved to RC in 2006 to live in Bev's childhood home. Tom played guitar, Bev sang, and they entertained with two-part harmony on oldies from the '40s to '70s. Tom raced a 1959 MGA and a 1956 Morgan for 20 years each at road race tracks, and was an accomplished racer, driving coach and mechanic. Tom and Bev met in Redwood City in 1979, and filled 46 years with love, laughter and music. Tom is survived by Bev and daughters Adrian Morgan LeQue and Susan Morgan DeMorest.

I´ve known Tom and Bev through our involvement as officials for car and motorcycle racing. Tom was one of our Safety Car drivers for the pro-motorcycle races at Laguna Seca for well over a decade and I also got to enjoy him driving one of his cars at CSRG races. You will live on in my memories with the laughter, singing and the fun bench racing and enjoying you strumming your guitar and the two of you singing literally every song requested down at worker camping. Rest at Speed Tom!

I worked at Early American Paint in So. S.F. and that is how I met Tom. He was always very friendly when he came into the store. I remember he and his crew (Morgan Painting) got selected to go to Honolulu, Hawaii to paint the first See's Candy store that was built there. (See's signature black and white color). Tom was very excited to be going there.
My condolences to his wife and daughters. May Tom rest in peace.

Tom was a fun man to know. I always enjoyed visiting with him when he came to visit Wisconsin. I enjoyed listening to him play music and tell stories of his life's adventures. Rest in Peace, Dear Friend. You will be missed by us here in Minnesota. My condolences to all of Tom's family, especially my close friends Adrian, Kevin and Zephyr.
