I was good friends with Vicki in junior high school. She was very kind and very fun and i have very fond memories of her. I always thought she was very lucky to have such a wonderful family and have always remembered with great fondness and appreciation the caring and kindness that Vicki's mother showed to me. Vicki's family has my deepest sympathy.

I knew Vicky when we were growing up- probably since we were 3 or 4 years old. Our fathers worked together for many years. I loved going to visit Jess and Socci, Vicky and Michael. Later we went to St. John's High School together. Vicky was always so sweet and so much fun. I'm so sorry for your loss, Michael. I have such fond memories of your family.

During our last class of 1970 mini reunion in Pacifica I was able to spend some time with Vickie - catching up a bit with each other. She still had that sense of humor we all enjoyed during our high school years - could always make us laugh!
I know she will be greatly missed by family and friends

So many memories of our times growing up. It was a time when we played in the streets as children and then hung out with all our other friends in the neighborhood as we got older. Then the two of us went to St. John's High School together and I remember those first few days when we were embarassed to be in our uniforms and didn't want our friends to see us. But that changed and we made wonderful friends during high school while still being blessed with the friendship of those we grew up with in our tightly knit Bayshore neighborhood. I loved how you were always trying out Maltese words you learned and always wanted pastizzis that my mom would make. I treasure all my memories with you and, even though we didn't see each other often, I will miss knowing that I will no longer be able to see you. My condolences to the family. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. We have all gained another angel to watch over us. Rest in peace Vicki. You will be forever loved and missed by me and so many others whose lives you touched.

Dear Socci, Mike and husband Michael,
Vicki was my best friend from Kindergarten through 8th grade in the Bayshore District of San Francisco (later Daly City) from 1957 to 1966. She was a kind, fun, caring, giving and talented friend.
We did everything together from Barbies to the Beatles, to go-go Boots, to dancing the Boogaloo and playing in the Band at Bayshore School. We loved George Harrison of the Beatles so much that we took the nicknames of Geogeena (Vicki) and Georgette (me).
Some of the best years of my life and I will forever cherish the beautiful memories we shared. My family and I moved away from the Bayshore district in 1966 and Vicki and I sadly grew apart, but I never forgot my first and dearest best friend. I had recently been thinking heavily about her. I had no idea she was ill.
I loved her sweet family like my own: Dad Jess, Mom Socci and little brother Michael that we teased terribly. And her beautiful Aunt Carmen and Aunt Alice. Some of the loveliest people I have known in my long life. And how they loved their Vicki...
Socci, Mike (and family) and Michael, I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious daughter, sister, wife and aunt.
Vicki will remain in my heart forever. May God bless you and keep each of you in His tender care during this very difficult time and always.
Rest in peace, dear friend. I will miss you.
With love, Karin W., mom Sally W., sister Sue W. Boise, ID

I remember how much fun we had at St. John's. I wish we could have had more time together... but we will see each other soon. Love, Berta
