Vincent Lucca Obituary

Vincent Mario De Lucca
May 13th 1957 - May 2nd 2021
Vincent passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 2nd 2021 at the age of 63.
He left behind his brothers John and Dominic, sister Stephanie, niece Dominique, nephew Shaoul, nephews Mario and Vincent, and many beloved cousins, uncles, aunts, and close friends. Waiting for him in heaven are his parents Vincent and Marie and brothers Stephen and Peter.

Vincent was born and raised in the Sunset District where he attended Holy Name of Jesus School. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corp. Vincent worked as a mechanic at Melrose Motors for many years but later in his life found his passion working at Holy Name School and Church. He loved being back at Holy Name. He was essential to maintaining the daily activities and sports programs, but most of all he enjoyed coaching and mentoring the kids who admired and adored him.

Vincent was a truly selfless man who put everyone's needs ahead of his own. His heart overflowed with kindness and nothing but good words and deeds towards everyone he touched. He will be truly missed but the goodness of his soul will continue to light our way every day.

You will forever be in our hearts, Vinny. Rest peacefully and deservedly in Heaven with God.

Sorry to hear the news of Vince´s passing. Every Sunday in the fall we would talk 49ers football. What was working, what wasn´t and what we thought the Niners could do better. We always had the answers for the 49ers. I spent more than 30 years with Vince and his brothers on my left every Sunday win or lose. We won some Super Bowls on the way. He was a pillar i looked forward to every Sunday at the ball park and he will be missed. Bob and Dan Fraher send our prayer to the family and wish well for Vince in the afterlife.

Vince, you not only my best friend, but like a brother to me. Maria and I will miss our dinner outings and “mojito’s.” We will also miss your laughter, sarcasm, humor and most of all your deep friendship. May you rest in piece and enjoying the spoils of heaven. We love you and will forever always be in our hearts.
