Virginia Escobedo Obituary
March 1, 1921 - March 8, 2016
Virginia was born at home in the Mission District of San Francisco to the late Florence and Milton Nolan. Beloved wife of the late George Escobedo, a native San Franciscan from Glen Park, and her three brothers and four sisters. Survived by her five children, Georgette Escobedo, William Escobedo, George Escobedo, John Escobedo, Gail Tobriner and 13 great and 9 great great grand children and many loving nieces and nephews.She was a descendant on her Father's side from a pioneer family that came to California and settled in the Santa Cruz area in the 1850's.
Her kindness and caring knew no boundries. Her greatest love was her family. She will be greatly missed and live in our hearts forever.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, March 10, 2016 after 5:00 PM with a vigil service at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of the Highlands, 194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae. The funeral procession will leave on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11:30 AM from the Funeral Home for a committal service at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma.

I was fortunate to experience first hand the love and closeness of the Escobedo family. It was about fifty years ago when I stayed with your family for a few months. I'll never forget the kindness the whole family showed to me.
