So very sorry to hear about Bill. Initially, I knew about Bill mostly through Kathryn, but always felt happy for both of them, having such a strong and loving relationship. I got to see him more recently with a group of Kathryn's work friends who would come to visit her. I could tell what a smart, knowledgeable and caring man he was, and how important family was to him. But it was not until I read the death notice that I understood how varied and impressive his many accomplishments were. It is such a loss for Kathryn and all the family.

I met Bill when we both were in an Alzheimer's support group for caregivers in San Rafael; both of our wives were diagnosed at about the same time. I enjoyed meeting & getting to know Bill. Condolences to the family.
