Zoe Pang Obituary

Zoe Pang

Funeral service for Zoe Pang, 93 of San Francisco, California will be at 2 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Woodland Memorial Chapel, 1000 El Camino Real, Colma, California 94014.
Zoe was born in Fresno, California, the youngest of eight children. She moved to San Francisco at an early age to be with her older sister Bessie. Zoe finished her school years at San Francisco City College where she attended secretarial classes. She married Walter Pang and together they owned and operated two grocery stores in San Francisco. Along came Julie in 1954 and David in 1955. Eventually, Zoe utilized her secretarial skills and advanced to the position of Medical Claims Adjuster for the Office and Professional Employees Union. After dedicating thirty years to her job, Zoe finally retired. Unfortunately, in her very late years, she sadly succumbed to Alzheimer's illness. To describe Zoe in the best chosen words, she was graceful with class, always very enthusiastic, highly optimistic, unconditionally supportive and most loving as a wife, mother and grandmother. We will all miss her dearly. May God watch over her eternally.
Zoe is survived by her daughter Julie, son David, daughter-in-law Lily and grandchildren, Carlos, Natalie and Eric, Carlos's fiancée Beverly and great grandchildren Sophie and Brendan.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you consider honoring her memory with a donation to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
