Marilyn McLaughlin

pu,sgobits2 McLAUGHLING-Marilyn (Barr) McLaughlin, was born February 11, 1928 in Lynn Ma. The family relocated to southern California where Marilyn met and married Kenneth McLaughlin, who preceded her in death in 1967. Marilyn attended Citrus College and later became a medical secretary at Inter Community Hospital. After her retirement, she donated many hours as a volunteer at Foothill Presbyterian Hospital. Marilyn continued her volunteer work at FPH until 2009. A lover of travel, Marilyn saw the world, accompanied by her children and grandchildren. Her time on earth was enriched by her love of family and cherished friends. Marilyn passed away on July 8 at her Azusa home, surrounded by her family. She leaves four children, Patricia, Richard, Kathleen and Cherilyn. Grandchildren Christopher, Shawn, Corinne, Felicia, Stephanie, Heather and Emily. She also leaves many very special friends. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday July 24 2010 at Forest Lawn, Covina.
