Scott LoMonaco Obituary

SCOTT ANTHONY
LoMONACO

Age 28, died Sunday, June 3, 2012, in Camarillo, CA, due to injuries sustained in a car accident.

Scott was born March 30, 1984, in Tustin, California, to John and Donna LoMonaco. He attended Pomelo Elementary, Hale Jr. High and El Camino High School, and played baseball for Knapp Ranch from elementary through junior high school in which he excelled as catcher. He was also a member of the golf team for El Camino and played in the Los Angeles City Golf Championships.

Scott loved fishing, golfing, range shooting, working out, camping, dirt bike riding, car racing, spending time with his friends, romping with his beloved dog, Dozer, customizing cars, debating with his friends and family and had come to love reading.

His wonderful, unique sense of humor endeared Scott to many. He was a loyal and caring friend and a loving son and brother. Although he was devastated by John's death, Scott was determined to live his life in honor of his late father and became devoted to obtaining great physical health while improving his body. He had quit smoking and was committed to leading a healthy lifestyle.

Scott and his brother, Brian, assumed control of their father's fire-safety business, Fire Tech Services based in Canoga Park, and strived to grow and maintain the company.

With his great technical and mechanical skills, Scott was an able problem solver. Together with a close friend, Scott built an AC Cobra replica car for his father that Scott cherished all the more after his father's death.

Scott LoMonaco touched the lives of many people and will forever and always be deeply missed. He is survived by his mother, Donna, brother, Brian, and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be conducted on Saturday, June 9th, 10:00 a.m., at Oakwood Memorial in Chatsworth. Immediately following will be a celebration of Scott's life at the home of Bill and Patt Fenton, 23948 Eagle Mountain St., West Hills.

Scott's family and friends suggest that Scott would have appreciated donations to the American Heart Association or to the animal rescue organization of your choice. LORENZEN ANGELENO MORTUARY

I'd rather not say goodbye, but see you later friend. Thank you Scott for showing me that there are still gentelmen in the world. Your smile and laughter was contageous, and Fred and I still wait for you to walk through the door to tell obscene jokes with us. I keep your last voicemail on my phone so that you are never far away. Till we meet again. Salute a la la dolce vita. Ai cuori che sono sempre pieni e bicchieri che non sono mai vuote. xo Lola Jean

Dear Donna,

Although words cannot truly express what my heart feels for you and Brian at this time, please know that you are both in my thoughts and prayers. Life is so fleeting and you have experienced so much loss is such a short time. I still remember Scott and Brian running around the house (naked) when they were little because they couldn't stand to have clothes on! I hope it is all the wonderful memories that keep you going and smiling through this most difficult time.

With much love,

Pamela Baldwin

Dear Donna,

Scott will be missed by many, he was a wonderful son/brother/friend. He loves you very much, I know this because he called the office everyday to make sure you were ok.

"It's her son Scott", is what I hear everytime the phone rings.

I love you dearly and you are in my thoughts and prayers daily.

Sincerely,
Lisa J.

I was the tow driver who responded to the scene to pick up Scott's car, and I helped what I assumed to be his family look for his cell phone. I assumed he wasn't injured too badly, and was blown away to find out Sunday he had passed away.
Sincere condolences to his family and whoever was looking for his cell phone that day.

My dear friend Donna,

My husband, Jim who is 100 per cent Italian said to me just a few days ago when we were facing a family crisis, "what would we do without a big family?" Having family for support is everything and I know the love and support of your friends and family will be a comfort to you at this challenging time. I think of you often and offer you our love, our prayers, and lifetime support.

Love,
Mary Anne Evans-Frank
