Clark Hatton Obituary

Clark "Pete" P. Hatton

Sheboygan - Clark "Pete" P. Hatton, 72, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2021, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

Pete was born on November 24, 1948, to Clark and Theresa (Peterson) Hatton in Sheboygan. He graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1967. Pete married Carolyn Larson on August 15, 1970. Prior to the marriage, he had enlisted in the US Army, and served stateside as well as in Germany. Following their marriage, Carolyn joined Pete in Germany, where they lived for 15 months.

Upon returning to Sheboygan, Pete worked at Brantmeier Ford for 33 years. Following his time at Brantmeier, he worked for Amerifleet Transportation delivering leased vehicles across the country.

Pete's passions in life were driving cars, working on cars, watching auto racing, and anything car related. He took great pride in the work he did and was always trying to learn something new. He was quick to help anyone that he saw stranded on the roadside, was relied upon by many for his automotive advice, and was always offering to shuttle family and friends where they needed to go. He also enjoyed camping and family vacations.

Pete will be missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Carolyn; children, Dan (Amanda) Hatton, Karen Morford, and Tim (Danielle Wierikko) Hatton; 5 grandchildren, Sydney and Xavier Hatton, William, Tyler, and James Morford; sisters-in-law, Mary (Gary Swenson) Larson and Donna Hatton; and many other relatives and friends.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents; half-brother, Wayne Hatton; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sydney and Loretta (Reinholz) Larson.

A Funeral Service will be held for Pete on Friday, March 19, 2021, at Immanuel Lutheran Church (1634 Illinois Ave, Sheboygan, WI 53081) at 2:00 PM with a graveside service to follow at Wildwood Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed from his obituary page on www.ballhornchapels.com.

A public visitation will be held at the church from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Please follow the recommended COVID-19 guidelines, including the wearing of face masks and social distancing.
