David Giuliani Obituary

Giuliani, David W.

David W. Giuliani celebrated his 87th Birthday surrounded by his family and friends at Countryside Manor in the town of Sheboygan on August 6, 2017, and then went to be with his Heavenly Father on August 9, 2017.

He was born in Caspian, MI to the late John and Josephine (Callovi) Giuliani. David attended local schools in Caspian, MI and graduated from Stambaugh High School in 1949. He served in the United States Army from 1952-54 during the Korean Conflict. After his service, he settled in Sheboygan and met Frances Knaub. On February 3, 1968 they were united in marriage.

He was employed as a mixer at Vinyl Plastics in Sheboygan for over 33 years. David spent many years as a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, and had been currently attending Mass at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.

He was an avid Wisconsin sports "FAN" and loved the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Wisconsin Badgers.

David was a natural historian. He had a love for record-keeping and had many photo albums and journals that chronicled his many passions in life. He loved his family and especially his grandkids and great-grand kids, and was always present to celebrate family milestones, whether birthdays, baptisms, weddings, confirmations, graduations and all the sporting events in between. He walked many miles throughout Sheboygan with his beloved dog, Cocoa. He had a love for gardening and was sure to share his bountiful harvest with any who may have been in need. For those who knew David, he was always willing and ready to provide a helping hand. He was truly an A-1 guy and he will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his five children, Sandra Schultz, of Sheboygan, Robert (Nancy) Schmidt, of North Carolina, Jon (Margit) Schmidt, Würzburg, Germany, Suanne (Jerry) Toerpe of Sheboygan, and George Knaub of Sheboygan Falls; ten grandchildren, Jerri Sue, Lori, Chris, Lisa, Kim, Elmer, Craig, Bradley, Ashley and Stephanie; twenty-three great-grandchildren; his two sisters, Loraine (Robert) Infield, of Illinois and Delores (Robert) Watts, of Caspian, MI. David was further survived by many special nieces and nephews and relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and a brother Raymond Giuliani, a son-in-law Richard Schultz, a grandchild, Michael Schmidt, and a great-grandchild, David Toerpe.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 818 Huron Ave., Sheboygan, with Fr. Matthew Widder officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. until the time of Mass at 5:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in David's name. Condolences may be expressed online at www.reinboldfh.com.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, aides and hospice care at Countryside Manor and the St. Nicholas Hospital for providing excellent care to David in his final moments.
