Dolores (Schneider) Reinl
Charlesburg - Dolores (Schneider) Reinl, age 92, formerly of Charlesburg, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021, at St. Paul Elder Services in Kaukauna where she and her husband resided since March of 2016.
She was born November 29, 1928, in Jericho to Bruno & Clara (Freund) Schneider. Dolores attended Holy Trinity Parochial School in Jericho. On May 18, 1948, she married Ronald Reinl at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jericho. Dolores and Ronald farmed on the Reinl family homestead where they raised their nine children.
Dolores was an avid gardener. She had a huge vegetable garden and many flower beds. She and her husband loved to fish; it is well known, she most times out-fished her husband.
Her Catholic faith was a very important part of her life; she and her husband prayed the Rosary every day.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein and a former member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Charlesburg. She was a long time member of the Christian Women's Society at each parish.
Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Ronald; her eight children, Pat (Dave) Wettstein of Jackson, WI, Judy (Rich) Lodes of Fairfield Glade, TN, Joanne (Greg) Murphy of Tomah, WI, Kathy (Stan) Schmitz of rural St. Cloud, WI, Mary (Richard) Dreifuerst of Cooper Landing, AK, Ron Jr. (Kim) Reinl of Manitowoc, WI, Jim (Sue) Reinl of Appleton, WI, and Joe (Kathi) Reinl Oshkosh, WI; 18 grandchildren, Robin (Drew) Johnson, Amy Schlei, Scott (Brenda) Sabel, Steven (Lisa) Sabel, Michael Sabel, Melissa (Garrett) Sebastian, Christopher Diamond, Keith Diamond, Craig (Amy) Schmitz, Damien Schmitz (fiancée, Kim Gerner), Dustin (Cassie) Dreifuerst, Casilyn Dreifuerst (fiance', Todd Challacombe), Ron III (Nikki) Reinl, Ashley (Paddy) Doherty, Brandon Reinl, Jaclyn Reinl, Alex (Kaitlin) Reinl, Megan (Andrew) Edwards; 24 great-grandchildren with the 25th on the way; her brothers & sisters, Germaine Mand, Romilda Schmitz, and Evelyn Muellenbach-Pavlicek, Alphonse (Ella Mae) Schneider, and Frank (Ginny) Schneider; her brother-in-law, Edwin Koenigs; and three sisters-in-law, Shirley Roehrig, Jeannette Brenner, and Helen Reinl. She is further survived by many nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughter & son-in-law, Betty & Bill Sabel; her granddaughter, Kathryn Wettstein; a great-grandson; her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Otto & Elizabeth (Schoenborn-Puetz) Reinl; her brother, Melvin (Dorothy) Schneider; two sisters, Marcelline (Ralph) Gundert and Mildred Koenigs; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Marvin Muellenbach, Louis Pavlicek, Donald Schmitz, Cordelia (Anthony) Nett, Bernard Brenner, Jerry Reinl, Melvin (Margaret) Reinl, Eugene (Vianne) Reinl, Sr. Virginia Reinl, and Richard Roehrig.
A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street, New Holstein, WI 53061. Dolores will be laid to rest in the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Charlesburg.
