Donna Heimermann Obituary
Kiel - Donna M. Heimermann, 80, of rural Kiel, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, January 17, 2018 at her home. She is the former Donna Nett, born September 13, 1937, daughter of the late Joseph & Frances (Seurer) Nett. Donnna attended Catholic School in Charlesburg and graduated from New Holstein High School in 1956. On October 13, 1956 she married Lester Heimermann at St. Charles Catholic Church in Charlesburg. Lester preceded her in death on March 10, 2010. She took great pride in farming with Lester in New Holstein and raising her family. Donna was a member at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She was an active member of Kiel Senior Citizens were she enjoyed playing cards. Donna also enjoyed following singer, Maggie Mae, scrapbooking & journaling her daily/weekly events, word searches, taking day trips with friends, and crafting. She loved giving her creations as gifts.
She is survived by her six children: Dianne (Roger) Christopherson, Kiel, Lorie (Mike) Wagner, Chilton, Larry (Margie) Heimermann, Chilton, Jim (Peggy) Heimermann, Chilton, Barb (Dan) Halbach, Chilton, Brian (Wendy) Heimermann, New Holstein and nine grandchildren: Kim (Tony) Camomilli, Melissa (Lucas) Kraus, Stephany (Trent) Spencer, Nicole (Troy) Heinrich, Adam Christopherson, Jamie (Jeremiah) Greever, Brienne Heimermann, Heather (Lucas) Steinbach & Cody Heimermann. She is further survived by nine great grandchildren, step grandchildren, Heather (Tim) Edwards, John (Natalie) Beach, Tom (Samantha) Beach, Lee Ann (Marshall) Schmidt, Rebekah Beach (Kevin VanderLoop) & Daniel Beach, 3 step great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Bert Daun, Martha Nett, Ellie Heimermann, Loraine & Tom Bowe, Raymond & Joanne Heimermann, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law, Carol Heimermann, granddaughter, Holly Heimermann, sister, Esther Daun, and brother, Robert Nett.
Funeral services for Donna will be held 12:00 pm on Monday, January 22, 2018 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church (413 Fremont St., Kiel). Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Family will greet relatives and friends at church on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 9:00 am to 11:45 am.
Donna's family would like to extend their thanks to EMT's & first responders & the Calumet County Sheriff's Department who helped us and our mother in our time of need.
