Dorothy Katherine Schutt

Dorothy Katherine Schutt, age 87, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully from Pulmonary Fibrosis on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at Pine Haven Assisted Living, where she had been a resident for the past month.

She was born on October 7, 1926 in Sheboygan to Henry and Katherine (Ruppel) Miller.

On November 29, 1980 Dorothy and Ralph L. Schutt were united in marriage. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1993.

She was a member of First United Lutheran Church and loved attending and participating in activities at the church.

Dorothy was a caring and compassionate person and will be deeply missed by family and friends.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Also surviving her are step-children, step-grandchildren, and numerous friends.

Dorothy was thankful for her wonderful friends and felt so fortunate to have them in her life.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 17, 2014 at First United Lutheran Church. Rev. Todd W. Smith will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held on Friday from 12:00pm until the time of service. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.

Dorothy's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who gave their support, loving care, and compassion to both Dorothy and her family.
