Edward "Ed" F. Fedran

Edward "Ed" F. Fedran, age 97, of Sheboygan Falls, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center in Green Bay. He was born in Middleville, New York on September 9, 1916 to the late Anthony and Sophia Fustovershisk Fedran.

He attended Grade School and High School in Slovenia. After High School he joined the U.S. Army, serving his country during World War II in Hawaii and the Philippines. Ed was also one of the jeep drivers for General McArthur.

On December 1, 1945 Ed was united in marriage to Mary Kodzik at Blessed Sacrament in Milwaukee. Mary preceded him in death on March 29, 1998. Ed was a lifetime residential and commercial painter. He retired in 1971. Ed was a member of the Sloga Lodge and a current member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Ed was also an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his daughter, Mary Ann (Bob) Schellinger, of Sheboygan; two grandsons, Robert (Polly) Schellinger, of Sussex, David Schellinger, of San Francisco, CA; one great-granddaughter; a brother, Bob (Joann) Fedran, of Franklin, WI; and his two sisters-in-law, Theresa Fedran of New Berlin and Doris Kodzik, of Milwaukee. Ed is further survived by many other relatives and friends in Slovenia and Australia. Preceding him in death are his parents, wife, two brothers and three sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1444 S. 11th St., Sheboygan with Rev. Paul Fliss, officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass at 12:00 P.M. Interment will take place at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff and caregivers at Prairie Crossing for the compassion and care that was given to him. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Ed's name. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reinboldfh.com

MaryAnn and Bob & Family,
I remember the day Ed entered PC. I am so glad to have met Ed and his wonderful family. Now he is watching over all of us. Such an awesome little guy he was. Prayers with you all during this time sorrow.
