Eadelis, Elizabeth "Betty'

Elizabeth "Betty" Eadelis, 77, of Little Elkhart Lake, (town of Rhine) passed away early Thursday morning, (Nov. 8), at her home after a courageous 14 year battle with lung cancer.

She was born on March 9, 1935, in Marshfield, WI, a daughter of the late John and Ella Behr Erickson.

Betty attended Little Elkhart Lake Grade School.

On August 29, 1953, she married Robert Eadelis in Dubuque, IA. The couple has resided at Little Elkhart Lake after their marriage.

She worked at Plymouth Plastics, Q's Quarters in Elkhart Lake and retired after 23 years from Gilson Brothers in Plymouth in 1983.

Betty was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart Lake and a member of the Ladies Guild in the church.

She enjoyed camping, NASCAR racing, crocheting, quilt making-making sure all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren had quilts made by her as well as making lunch for her granddaughters, Macaroni and Tomato's.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert of Little Elkhart Lake; three children, John (Sue) Eadelis of Plymouth; Jeannette (Dale) Lindner of Johnsonville; Sherry (Craig) Curtiss of Plymouth; five granddaughters, Nicole (Marc) Shuman of Plymouth; Angela (Brian) Goelzer of Plymouth; Tanya (Matt) Hazeart of Denmark, WI; Krystal Lindner (fiance, Dustin Witkowski) of Sheboygan Falls; Kayla (Kyle) Kulow of Plymouth; eight great-grandchildren, Bailey, Kendra, Hayden, Cael, Jaxon, Emmit, Emeliah, Ellah;three step-grandchildren, Brock (Jackie)Curtiss of Cascade;Brittni Curtiss of Sheboygan; Dexter Curtiss of Plymout;, two stepgreat-grandchildren, Ethan and Ava Curtiss; one brother, Victor (Diane) Erickson of Little Elkhart Lake; one sister, Virginia (Frank) Klemme of Little Elkhart Lake.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Gerald Erickson and two sisters, Jeannette Erickson and Shirley Klemme.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday Evening, (Nov. 11) at 7 p.m.. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Peter Peitsch, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart Lake will officiate. Private family interment will take place at a later date.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Sunday from 3 p.m. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Betty's name.
