Gary Hartman Obituary
Gary was born on October 15, 1954, in Sheboygan to Lester and Yvonne (Nouguier) Hartman. He was a 1973 graduate of Sheboygan North High School.
On April 12, 1999, Gary married Terry Lockwood in Las Vegas. Gary was employed at Bemis Manufacturing for 41 years as a General Laborer until his retirement on January 3, 2017.
Gary loved fishing, and was an active member with the Riverside Boat Club. He also enjoyed action and horror movies, listening to the Brewers and Packer games on the radio, setting off fireworks, and watching his grandsons sporting events. He had a great sense of humor.
Gary is survived by his wife, Terry Hartman; three daughters, Michelle (Raymond) Zalewski, Deidra (John Sukowaty) Hartman, and Margo Clark; one son, Neil (Rosa) Hartman; three grandchildren, Isaac, Arianna and Elijah Hartman; his mother, Yvonne Hartman; four brothers, Perry (Mary) Hartman, David (Brenda) Hartman, Dan Hartman, and Tom Hartman; two sisters-in-law, Sherry (Patrick) Ottery, and Mary (Warren) Gilmer; one brother-in-law, William Allen; one niece, Amber (Shelby) Desmidt-Schleicher; one nephew, Jordan Hartman; and one great-nephew, Isaiah Desmidt-Schleicher.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Lester Hartman; mother-in-law, Patricia Allen;
A memorial service to celebrate Gary's life will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017, at 7:00 pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg with Rev. Mark Janzen officiating. An inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm.
A brat fry will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Riverside Boat Club in Sheboygan from 11-4pm in Gary's memory.
A memorial fund is being established in his name.

Dear Dave, and Hartman family, I remember Gary so well from our grade school days at St.Paul's and our confirmation classes, and then graduating from North in 1973. It was so surprising to see his picture and name in the obits. It really makes you think how important it is to tell your family every day you love them, and make the best out of every day because it could be your day to be called to heaven. May God Bless you as a family, and give you peace as you work through your grief.

I worked with Gary for 41 years at Bemis. A sweetheart of a guy.He would of given you the shirt off his back. Always happy to hand out money for gift collections. He had that charismatic witty humorous personality, that people loved. He will be missed. May Jesus richly bless you Gary. Love in his wonderful name JESUS.
