Kay Halverson Obituary

Halverson, Kay Lynne

Kay Lynne Halverson age 64, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 24, 2015. She was born on July 6, 1951 in Riverside, CA. Kay was a 1970 graduate of Madison West High School. She went on and received her degree in cosmetology. Kay was a long time employee at K-Mart, Charcoal Inn North and South. She enjoyed camping around Wisconsin with Gary and her dog Taco and the late Booty.

Kay is survived by her husband of 21 years, Gary Halverson; one son, Andrew (Kerri) Seipel; one granddaughter, Jennifer Seipel; six siblings, Jose (Maureen) Menendez, Susan (Ken) Weber, Stephen (Linda) Menendez, Juanita Menendez, Beckie (David) Gehr and Russell (Carolynn) Menendez; three nieces, Leah LeClair, Ashley Hafemann and Dawn Becker; four nephews, Chad Gehr, Russ Menendez Jr., Nick Menendez and Kenny Weber; also survived by other relatives and friends. Kay is preceded in death by her parents Beulah "Bea" Wilke and William A. Wilke.

Kay's wishes was that there not be any services. A private family remembrance will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank St. Nicholas Hospital, Progressive Rehab Center and Mallory Reinemann for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in her name has been established.
