White, Marilyn "Colleen"

Marilyn Colleen White age 84, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015. She was born May 5, 1931 in Brooklyn, IL to parents Elmer and Josephine (McCord) Cox. Colleen was united in marriage on February 21, 1948 to John G. White.

Colleen worked tirelessly for fundraisers for St. Luke United Methodist Church, Sheboygan for many years, before moving back to Peoria, IL to take care of her mother and sister. Colleen and John returned to Sheboygan in 2012. Colleen will be remembered for her compassion toward others, her generosity, kindness and caring. During her lifetime, she supported many worthwhile causes.

Colleen is survived by her loving husband, John G.; three children, John S. of Cedarburg,WI, Karen (David) Kaja of Copperopolis, CA and Michael (Heidi) of Elkhart Lake, WI; five grandchildren, Jason, Andrea and Jeff Kaja, Ben (Katie) White and Nathan White; three great-grandchildren, Jackson Kaja, Lauren and Meg White; five nieces, Debbie Hopkins, Letha (Bob) Pollard, Linda (Brad) Thompson, Laura (Forrest) White and Cindy (Rod) Arnett. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lynda; daughter-in-law, Rita and grandson, Nicholas White.

Services for Colleen will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Aurora Visiting Nurses and Aurora Hospice for their excellent care over the last two years. Also a special thanks to the staff at Countryside Manor for their care over the last 4 months. Please visit, www.ballhornchapels.com to sign the guestbook.
