Mary Brownson Obituary
Mary Erma Brownson, age 66, of Sheboygan, died on Monday, November 17, 2014 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. She was born in Sheboygan on April 19, 1948, the daughter of the late Francis and Pearl Meinhardt McWilliams.
She attended local schools in the Sheboygan area. On September 10, 1971, she was united in marriage to David B. Brownson in Sheboygan. Mary was employed at Armira Leather Company until it closed, then at Vollrath Company until her retirement. Mary enjoyed volunteering at the Sheboygan Senior Center doing Zumba classes and going on and organizing trips.
Survivors include her husband, David Brownson; her daughter, Dawn Marie Brownson; two sisters, Joann Schultz and Rose Mary Oldenburg and her brother, James McWilliams, all of Sheboygan. Mary is further survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service for Mary will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6706 Superior Ave., Town of Sheboygan. Chaplin Kathy Ried will be officiating.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff on the 4th floor at St. Nicholas Hospital and Sunny Ridge Health Care and Rehab. A Special thank you is given to Dr. Bettag and his staff for all of their compassion and care, and the people she walked with at the Mall.

Dave and Family, went to jr. High with Mary and High School too. Bowled with Mary, golfed with Mary, laughed so much with Mary, but best of all I could call her a Dear friend always. As I look to the heavens, Mary is there smiling as always. May you know peace at this very sad time. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Her light shines for all who knew her.

I met Mary when I started working at Vollrath in the warehouse. She was my trainer. She made me feel welcome to the department. She was a great coworker. We had lots of fun and laughs over the years. Great person now a great angel.

Dave Dawn and family words can not express the sadness we feel at the loss of Mary. She was the most wonderful person anyone could know. Just remembering the great times we had while working at Vollrath and of course partying with Dave and Mary after work. Judy and I will keep you in our prayers through this terrible time.
