Roger Ott Obituary
Sheboygan Falls - Roger H. Ott, 91, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on July 11, 2018 at Pine Haven Christian Community. Roger was born to the late Albert and Lydia (Seichter) Ott on March 30, 1927 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan and was raised in Sheboygan Falls. He was a graduate from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1945. Roger joined the Navy in 1945, stationed on Treasure Island in CA as a Hospital Corps 2nd class until 1947. He graduated from Century College of Medical Technology in Chicago as a lab and X-Ray Technician. Roger was united in marriage to Dorothy Gonering on June 16, 1951 at St. Dominic Church in Sheboygan. He worked at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk, WI for two and half years before starting at St. Nicholas Hospital where he worked in the X-Ray department for 20 years. Then he worked at Johnsonville Foods in Quality Control until retiring in 1989. Roger was a member of St. Peter Claver Parish and volunteered at church for many years. Roger enjoyed camping with family and traveling.
Roger is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy; one daughter, Elizabeth Ott of Milwaukee; three sons, Thomas Ott of Sheboygan Falls, James (Mary Jo) Ott of Sheboygan and Joseph Ott of Wichita, KS; one grandson, Tyler (Carissa) Ott of Sheboygan; brother, Albert (Pauline) Ott of Apple Valley, MN; sister-in-law, Mary Gonering and brother-in-law, Francis (Karen) Gonering.
He is preceded in death by his parents; twin great-granddaughters; sister-in-law, Loretta Nikolai and brothers-in-law, Dennis, Harold, Eugene and John Gonering.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Peter Claver Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Memory Care Unit at Pine Haven and the St. Nicholas Hospice staff.
