Sharon Edens Obituary
Sharon D. Edens, 72, of Sheboygan, passed away Thursday evening, December 31, 2015 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Born October 12, 1943 in Sheboygan, Sharon was a daughter of the late George and Evelyn Bosch Sheffers. She attended area schools and graduated from Central High School in 1962.
Sharon worked as a seamstress for many years at Art Imig's in Sheboygan. She enjoyed arts and crafts and sewing. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her cats.
She is survived by her daughters, Julie (Andrew Pietzner) Van Alstine, Sheboygan, and Jodi (James) Bratz, Sheboygan; her two granddaughters, Nikki (Jason) Jaeckels, Plymouth, and Alissa (Rob) McKnight, Cascade; great grandchildren, Jacob, Kaleigh, Ava, and Khloe; her sister, Pat (Don) Lorier, Sheboygan, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Shaun Van Alstine, and her brother, Larry Sheffers.
A memorial service for Sharon will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. The Rev. Lorri Steward will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Sharon's arrangements.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support.

Sharon use to make aprons for my business and I also use to have her do all of my alterations. I thought about her at Christmas, I had not heard anything about her in several years. She was a very sweet person. I am sorry for your loss.
