Stephen Wimberly Obituary
Stephen "Steve" Wimberly, 69, passed away peacefully at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center on March 25th. He was born on March 25, 1948 to James and Edna Wimberly in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1965 to 1976. He served two tours in Vietnam with the 2nd Marine Division. On July 11, 1969 he married Sharon Gabrielse Gannon at Parris Island, South Carolina. They had been married for 47 years and were blessed with 3 wonderful sons: Terry (Rhonda), Stephen(Keli) and William (Jennifier), He had 12 grandchildren Leanna, Seth, Issac, Autumn, Katelyn, Alexsis, Ruby, Lily, Courtnay, Sara, Roman, and Alexander who will truly miss him. He also had 12 great grandbabies. He is survived by his brother David (Sandra). A special thanks to his buddy Ivan Adelman for being part of his life.
During his working years he worked at Thomas Industries, drove coal truck in Kentucky, and worked at Watry Industries.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jimmy and Terry.
According to his wishes a small gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be set up in his name.
