Marjorie Loggan Obituary

Marjorie L. Loggan, 79, of Milroy, passed away November 26, 2022 at her residence.

Born January 19, 1943 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Paul Crafton and Freida (Osting) Crafton. She married William B. Loggan on May 20, 1962 and he preceded her on November 11, 2015.

Survivors include 3 children- Ted Loggan (wife Gena) of Manilla, James "Bo" Loggan of Milroy, Kelly Loggan of Milroy; daughter-in-law Kathy Loggan of Indianapolis; a brother Harold "Butch" Crafton (wife Donna) of Shelbyville, sister Phyllis Eberhart of Shelbyville, half sister Paula Reese (husband Jim) of Anderson, step sister Lisa Simon (husband Harold) of Anderson; 5 grandchildren- Briley Loggan, Blaine Loggan, Michael Loggan (wife Megan), William Loggan, and Samantha Loggan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, a son Paul Loggan, sister Bonnie Hill, half brother John Crafton, and step sister Sherry Ashby.

Mrs. Loggan was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Waldron High School in 1961. She had been secretary at Milroy Grain Elevator, retiring after 40 years of service, and also had been self employed with Loggan Milk Hauling for 40 years. She was a member of Milroy Christian Church.

Marjorie was an avid gardener, and loved working in her lawn. She was affectionately known by many as the "Mayor of Milroy".

Funeral services will be 10:00 am on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Milroy Christian Church, 209 E. Main St., Milroy, IN. 46156 with Pastor Ron Simbro officiating. Burial will be in East Brook Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday evening, November 30, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at the church.

Memorial contributions can be made to Milroy Christian Church, in care of the funeral home.
