Robert Jeffrey "Jeff" Heck, age 63, of Morristown passed away on Saturday August 26, 2023. He was born in Shelbyville on April 6, 1960, to Robert and Barbara (Golding) Heck. He graduated from Morristown High School in 1978.
Jeff was a proud school bus driver for Shelby Eastern Schools for over 40 years. He drove a daily bus route, a vocational school route, field trips and sporting events while also working at various other places such as Ernie's Supermarket, Frito Lay, Morristown Schools and for the town of Morristown. He had a love for Reese's, Pepsi and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Jeff is survived by his children, Alyson (Stephen) Geyer, Robert Tyler and Justin Alexander Heck; grandchildren Leah, Kennedy and Parker Geyer; siblings Karen (Steve) Kenworthy and Jill (Neal) Turner; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 31, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary and Crematory 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Friday September 1, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shelby County Animal Shelter, 705 Hale Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176. Friends may share a memory or condolence at www.erleweinmortuary.com

Jeff was the bus driver for my children for a while when they were younger and then in October of 2022 he became my next door neighbor. He was a great man. Please know he´ll be missed

Im so sorry for your loss,I remember when he was born.they were our first neighb0rs in an apartment over padget chevrolet in 1956.
