On September 7th in the early morning hours, Rudy Arnold Klare 74, of Shelbyville IN, passed away at Major Hospital in Shelbyville, IN surrounded by his loving family. Rudy loved music and was known to belt out a tune every once in a while. Rudy loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. They all held a special place in his heart. Rudy didn't know a stranger. He was known to strike up a conversation with anyone. Especially the broken.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Linda (Hutton) Klare, brother Bill Klare (Mary) of Shelbyville, daughter Ashlei Klare-Smith (Paul) of Greenwood, daughter Abigail Wright (Phillip) of Columbus, daughter Aubrey Bunch (Nathan) of Brownsburg, son Andrew Klare of Brownsburg, and son Addison Klare of Columbus. 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Rudy was a pastor for years. While with his church he helped countless families and was there for anyone who needed his assistance. His wife and he also ran a daycare for 40 years and in this time Rudy had an impact on countless children. Many they cared for are still in contact with the Klare family. They loving called Rudy Pappy. As do his grandchildren.
Rudy was known for his spirit. When he knew you were having a bad day he would use his humor to try and help snap you out of it. He loved concerts and just simply enjoying a day outside. He will truly be missed and will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts.
His Celebration of Life will be taking place on Sunday September 21st at The American Legion Victory Post 70 1125 Miller Ave Shelbyville, IN in the Banquet Hall from 1-4 p.m.

He is proceeded in death by his Father, Russel Klare, Mother, Reba Klare, Brother, David Klare, and his Son, Arron Klare.
In lieu of flowers, his family will be taking donations for Rudy's loving wife Linda at his Celebration of Life Service.

Rudy was one of a kind no doubt. He was kind and giving to others. His contagious funny personality was something to behold. I will miss you Rudy rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with his family in this time of sorrow.
