I have wonderful memories of Hodge and Polly and visiting in their home with Linda. My mother (Ruby Short) shared many special events in her life that she shared with Hodge and Polly as school mates. I remember his quiet even temporment and the kindness he shared with his family, friends and community. Hodge will be missed by all who knew him. To all the family our deepest simpathy and may you remember all the wonderful things his life represented. Linda I love you and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have very fond memories of Andrew. I watched for his mail car every morning from my grandparents driveway. He gave me chewing gum or candy every morning! Now, I'm 43 and have 3 kids of my own. Just last year, my son and I were getting gas at a store he was at and there were men using bad languge. Andrew spoke up and said, "Hey fellas, watch your mouth, there's a lady and she also has her son in the car." And those men appologized. I thanked him and I just thought to myself....what a wonderful man. He was a true gentleman. May God be with you and your family during this difficult time.

My memory of Andrew comes from when I was just a little girl, he was the mailman that came by my grandparents house (Earlie Morning & Mazell Lail) I waited anxiously for him to deliver the mail because he always delivered the mail to my grandparents and to me he delivered candy!!! He was a true gem here on this Earth! He will be truly missed!!! Rest in peace Andrew, I will see you on the other side!!! Sharon Ward Brackett
