Barbara McIntyre Obituary

SHELBY - Barbara Anne Jones McIntyre, 77, died Sept. 24, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center-Cleveland.

Born in Cleveland County on Aug. 9, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Holland Brice and Opal Price Jones. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Barbara loved doing ceramics, crafts and cooking. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Don McIntyre; a stepson, Donnie McIntyre; and a brother, Richard Jones.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Leanne England and husband Terry of Boiling Springs.

Graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Cleveland Memorial Park with the Rev. Jim Richardson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and crematory.
