Billy Hudson Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cindy Hudson, a daughter, Stephanie Hudson, a son Billy Hudson III and wife Tiffany, granddaughters Emma and Scarlett, a sister, Donna Wilson and husband Larry, all of Shelby, NC.
Born on November 8, 1955 in Cleveland County, Mr. Hudson was the son of the late Billy Hudson, Sr. and Faye Hudson.
Before his illness Mr. Hudson enjoyed serving the Lord through mission trips. Pete also loved spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, going to the beach and boating.
A visitation will be held at Cleveland Funeral Services on Thursday, January 24 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at Landmark Baptist Church on Friday, January 25 at 2:00pm with a burial following at Cleveland Memorial Park.
Pete was blessed with an organ transplant which allowed him 19 additional years with his family. The family would urge members of the community to consider becoming an organ donor. Memorial contributions can be made to Landmark Baptist Church Youth Group P.O. Box 489 Shelby, NC 28151.

Cindy, sorry to hear about Pete. My thoughts and prayers go out for you and the family. I will be thinking of you during this difficult time and always know I'll be there if you need me. I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Pete. Cindy and family, I really enjoyed sitting and chatting with Pete at the beach on the front porch. I have always enjoyed all of the Hudson's when they visited Ocean Isle. I am thankful for the time we have great friends like Pete on this earth and I will continue to pray for your family in the days ahead.

Dear Cindy and Family, My Mom and I are both deeply saddened to learn of Pete's passing. He was such a lovely person, and a great friend to many, especially Harrill and then later Beth for many, many years. I hope we can all find comfort in envisioning Pete, Harrill and Mike Frazier exchanging stories and laughing with other friends who met them on the streets of Heaven.
