Ellen Emory Obituary

SHELBY -Mrs. Ellen Hayes Emory, 84, formerly of 206 College Avenue, died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Pack Hayes. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mosey Emory, and sister, Alice Martin.
She is survived by her son Ronnie Emory and wife, Judy, of Shelby; four daughters, Rachel Proctor and husband, Phillip, of Shelby, Ann Keller and husband, Robert, of Kings Mountain, Ellen Ellis and husband, Jerry, of Shelby, and Joyce Bridges and hus-band, Charlie, of Shelby; a brother Tommy Hayes of Shelby; two sisters Louise Panther of Grover, and Ruby Emory of Shelby; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation: The family will receive friends Monday, March 22, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Funeral: Monday, March 22, 2 p.m., Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church

Burial: Will follow in the church cemetery
