James Jamison Sr. Obituary

JAMES JAMISON SR.

SHELBY-James Alfred Jamison Sr., 74, passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at Carolinas HealthCare System-Shelby. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late JA and Lillian Philbeck Jamison. He was retired from PPG and Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Donald Jamison; and grandson, Christopher Moore.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Dianne Jamison; sons, Jamie Jamison and wife Denise of Boiling Springs, Tim Jamison and wife Yolanda of Maiden; daughter, Donna Moore and husband Michael of Boiling Springs; brother, Johnny Jamison and wife June of Shelby; grandchildren, Chad Moore, Jennifer and Alan Linsey, Phillip and Alex Jamison, Savannah Yount, Bradley Jamison, Jarrett Isaac and Colton Jamison; and great- grandchildren Payton and Kaylie Moore.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home, and other times at the home of his daughter, Donna, 120 Chase Drive, Mooresboro.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Shelby, officiated by the Rev. Leroy Mobley.

Burial will be held at 12 p.m., Wednesday, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Lincolnton.

Diane, i am so sorry to hear of James' passing...Dale said it was his Brother then, we seen where both had passed away a couple days apart...I am so sorry that rarely happens..Just know we are thinking & Prayers for all the Family... Dale & Sheila McCurry
