James Tessiner Obituary



JAMES TESSINER

SHELBY-James Earl Tessiner, 77, of 2419 Windy Lane, passed away Thursday, Oct., 15, 2015, at his residence. A native of Cleveland county, he was the son of the late John Erie and Nellie Morrow Tessneer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three spouses, Faye Crabb Tessiner, Mary Anne Weeks Tessiner, and Ada Chapman Tessiner; one brother, Miles Tessneer; three infant grandchildren; one daughter, Annette Lemmons.

He is survived by two sons, James "Shorty" Tessiner and wife Nancie of Casar, and Gene Tessiner of Shelby; three daughters, Carolyn Ellwood and husband Curtis of Hickory, Teresa Borders and husband Kenneth of Shelby, Dessie Cox and husband Tracy.; two sisters, Betty Cannon and husband Don, Annis Bridges all of Shelby; one brother, Kenny Tessneer of Shelby; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; his best friend and his companion, Precious; special friends, Dave Beam, Eddie Hester, Mike Barrett, and Joe Mullinex.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, in the chapel of Clay Barnette Funeral Home.

Internment will be at Sunset Cemetery.
