My husband, Ted Brittain, knew Don and Linda, and I met them during their wedding ceremony 26 years ago. She was such a sweet lady and we saw them eating out several months ago and learned she was in bad health. Ted died shortly after that, and I was so sorry to learn of her recent death. My deepest sympathy to Don and her family.

Linda was one of my Hamrick cousins, and we had fun together at Hamrick reunions. She was always so kind and sweet and happy to gather. I will never forget Linda‘s laughter. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was so proud of her family, with good reason! We will all miss her, but think of her when you laugh, and carry her goodness forward. A smile will lift your grieving hearts at this sad time. May you find peace with God’s help.

I will always remember the fun times growing up with all our wonderful Hamrick cousins-rides in the back of OV’s truck on the farm, playing in the yard, the Hamrick house @ Myrtle Beach, sharing good meals together. Blessings & comfort to the family she leaves behind- she loves you so much.

Linda was beautiful both inside, and out. I was blessed to be her neighbor for many years. We always had a candle on in the window for each other. I will never stop missing her. My candle will always be "on" for her in my heart. She was a blessing and a friend to so many !

I remember Linda from the many years at First Baptist Church in Shelby. One of the nicest people I knew and so much like her mom and dad. My heart goes out to her family during this difficult time.
