Marjorie Fesperman Obituary
Bitsy, as she liked to be referred to, was preceded in death by her parents, retired Supreme Court Justice James William Pless Jr. and Marjorie Kirby Pless; her brothers, James William Pless III, Alan Davidson Pless and by her sister, Ann Pless Lunger.
Born Jan. 25, 1928 in Marion, she attended Saint Mary's High School, Converse College, and UNC-Chapel Hill. She was a homemaker, member of the Junior Charity League of Shelby, the Cecilia Music Club and Shelby Presbyterian Church, where she received the Presbyterian Women Honorary Life Membership.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clyde Covington Fesperman Jr.; daughter Martha and husband Bill Noblitt; son Mike, daughters Jan and her husband Richard Dedmon and Neal and her husband Mark Binion. Bitsy is also survived by eight grandchildren; Kirby and husband Andy Crotts, Sally and fiancé Barnette, William and wife Kathryn Noblitt, Molly, Will and wife Leigh-Ervin Dedmon, Elizabeth, Rob and Meg Binion as well as three great-grandchildren, Drew, Lane and Winsley Crotts. The family would like to thank the staff of Wendover for all their love, support, and kindness.
Visitation: The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall
Memorial Service: 4 p.m. Thursday, Shelby Presbyterian Church
Burial: Private
Memorials:In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice House of Wendover, 951 Wendover Heights Drive or to Shelby Presbyterian Church, 226 E.. Graham Street, Shelby, NC 28150.

Clyde, Martha, Mike, Jan and Neal and families.. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. I always enjoyed Bitsy so much. She was a special person and I know you realize she is in a much better place now. I am leaving Thursday morning and will be out of town so I will not be able to attend the funeral.
