Vinnie Waters Obituary
A native of Cleveland County, Mrs. Waters was a member of Mount Moriah United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah M. Waters III; and parents, Benjamin Campbell Brackett and Vicie Jane Eaker Brackett; two sons, Elijah Waters IV and Bill Waters; grandsons, Matthew Waters and Justin King; son-in-law, Michael King; daughter-in-law, Norma Waters; brother, Johnny Lee Brackett; and sister, Lois "Chid" Hubbard.
She is survived by sons, Chet Waters and wife, Linda, and Sam Waters and wife, Myra, all of Casar; daughter, Peggy King, of Casar; daughters-in-law, Jan Waters and Kaye Waters Roberts, all of Casar; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous neices and nephews.
Visitation: The family will receive friends Sunday, Dec. 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stamey Funeral Home.
Funeral: Monday, Dec. 8, 2 p.m. at Mount Moriah United Methodist Church. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
Burial: Mount Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery
