Agnes Graham Obituary
Born on July 14, 1934, in Ludington, Agnes was the daughter of the late Patrick and Marguerite (Bryan) Murphy. She graduated from Scottville High School. Agnes married Wayne T. Graham on April 28, 1951, and shared many memorable years together.
Agnes was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Custer.
She was an avid sports fan – especially University of Michigan, Detroit Lions, and Detroit Tigers. She went 32 years without missing a Michigan Wolverine home game. It gave her great pleasure to see her grandchildren in all sports.
Agnes loved doing crosswords, playing cards, reading, golfing, bowling, writing and reciting poetry, and traveling – including casino trips!
She had a special place in her heart for Charlie's Bar. Agnes gave great advice to any and all, and flipped an occasional bird to some.
Agnes is survived by her children Carol Sutton, Margaret (Tom) Paul, Vivian (Gary) Shaw, Larry (Susan) Graham, Donald 'Dood', Lynne, Andrew, Sara, and DeAnn Graham; 27 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; brother, Richard Murphy; brother-in-law, Michael (Judy) Graham; many bonus grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her husband; sons Thomas and Joe Graham; grandson Timmy Palacios; brother Bob Murphy; sister Margie Cunninham and her husband Bob; sister-in-law Donna Murphy; and many other sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 3pm-6:30pm at Grace Funeral Home, with a Rosary beginning at 6:30pm.
A Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 11am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Rev. Dan DePew presiding. Visitation begins at 10am at the church.
In honor of Agnes' love for her Wolverines, all are welcome to wear their favorite U of M sportswear, or any maize and blue colors to her visitation on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caritas Food Pantry at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
