Marcella Homfeld Obituary
Hesperia
Mrs. Marcella A. Homfeld, 72, passed away Thursday evening, March 18, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. She was born Sept. 24, 1948 in Fremont, Mich. to Merritt and Sarah (Smith) Brandt. Marcella had been a foster grandmother at Hesperia Community Schools, and she also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. On July 31, 1971, she married Donald H. Homfeld, and he preceded her in death Sept. 1, 2009. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Marcella is survived by two sons, Don (Jean Westmoreland) Homfeld and Dustin (Heather) Homfeld; six grandchildren: Dakota, Allison, Chad, Spencer, Nicholas and Bau. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters, as well as her large extended family. There will be a luncheon and time of visiting with the family at the Hesperia American Legion Post Friday, March 26, 2021 from 1-3 p.m. Flowers for the family can be sent to the funeral home.
